Your Nutritional Supplements with Quality Assurance

Our products assure:

  • Proper Dosing,
  • Pure Ingredients,
  • Standardization,
  • Quality Assurance,
  • Efficacy.

All Supplements Are Not Created Equal

Every natural medicine and nutritional supplement at The Dispensary Online contains pharmaceutical-grade ingredients meeting, and often exceeding, the highest industry standards for quality and safety. The companies producing these quality natural medicines and nutritional supplements test and certify their products and are able to provide laboratory analyses demonstrating labeled potency and purity upon request. If a company cannot comply, or certify, the quality of their products, we do not carry them.

The Food & Drug Administration does not regulate natural medicines and nutritional supplements as they do pharmaceutical medications. The unregulated status of natural medicines and nutritional supplements enables varying standards of quality to be available through common retail outlets and health food stores. This is not commonly so with professional companies we carry.

We also try to work exclusively with organic and hypoallergenic ingredients and socially and environmentally responsible companies. We do not use multi-level marketing companies and we do not have any financial interests or ownership in any of the companies whose products we carry.

Inexpensive Products May Come at a Very High Cost

Cheap supplements may cause harm and may not work. Here is why:

  • Nutritional supplement manufacturing in the U.S. is unregulated. The majority of retail supplement manufacturers are never inspected nor regulated by any branch of the state or federal government to ensure production of safe, quality products.

  • There is little or no government oversight to ensure product quality. No oversight or regulation means that many suppliers maximize profits by scrimping on quality assurance. This practice is industry wide. Many supplements are of poor quality.

  • Nutritional supplements are frequently contaminated. Materials used to make supplements can be contaminated with lead, mercury, pesticides, chemicals, toxins, bacteria and mold. Unregulated manufacturers rarely if ever test for these.

  • Contaminated supplements can cause serious harm. If your supplements are contaminated with lead, mercury, pesticides, chemicals, toxins, bacteria or mold it may cause sickness and poor health. Harm may be immediately apparent, or may appear over time, or with long-term use. Hurting yourself or damaging some organ system is not worth a cheap price.

  • Low potency supplements do not meet label claim. Without consistent raw material and finished product testing (which most companies do not do) you never know if what you are taking is low potency.

  • Low potency supplements don't work. If the label says 500mg and the product only contains 360mg it may not work to improve your health.

  • High potency supplements may cause harm. Without consistent raw material and finished product testing (which most companies do not do) you never know if the supplement you are taking is super potent. If the label says 500mg and the product really contains 760mg, it may cause harm over time. Several common supplements are toxic at high amounts.

To quote Dr. Rick Leva from Vital Nutrients, “If you are making the financial and personal commitment to take nutritional supplements, make sure you are spending those dollars wisely and with confidence.”
